-California RN License -ACLS & BLS certification.
-Six (6) months of recent full-time acute care ICU experience or equivalent.
-Successful completion of Stroke/Sepsis Education competency within 6 months of hire.
Preferred:
-Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN).
-Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification.
-Knowledge of Det Norske Veritas (DNV).
JOB DESCRIPTION Provides nursing care to critical care patients in the ICU/CCU.
Effectively plans and communicates patient and family education.
Participates in unit based educational activities.
Accurately and timely documentation consistent with practice and hospital policy.
Floating may be required to other clinical areas and CMH Ventura, as necessary.
